Ladonia Fossil Park Provides Many Treasures; Site Recently Moved

The fossils were formed during the Cretaceous period marine megafossils such as mosasaurs and plesiosaurs from when North Texas was immersed in the Cretaceous Sea, also known as the Western Interior Seaway. The park is located at 2853 FM 2990 near Ladonia. This is a new location due to the construction of Lake Ralph Hall. The fossil park’s website says the relocation is temporary.
