Doe Branch Water Reclamation Plant Wins 2024 Award
The Doe Branch Water Reclamation Plant is undergoing an expansion to increase the wastewater treatment capacity from 4 million-gallons-per-day (MGD) to 12 MGD in this fast-growing area of northern Denton County. This project won the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) North Texas Section’s 2024 Project of The Year Award for detailed planning, ingenuity and teamwork. Congrats to the UTRWD staff and consultants for their hard work in the planning and design for this expansion project!
