Protect Lakes from Zebra Mussels
Zebra mussels aren’t just a threat to native fish and aquatic life — they can also damage boats, clog motors, and impact drinking water systems.
If you’re heading out to the lake this summer to boat or fish, take a minute to Clean, Drain, and Dry your boat, trailer, and gear every time you leave the water. It’s a simple step that goes a long way in preventing the spread of this invasive species to other lakes .
