UTRWD Provides an Update on Operations, Conservation and Watershed Protection Activities.
What is Proposition 4?
Texas has experienced rapid population growth in the last decade, and you know what they say – they aren’t bringing their water with them.

Proposition 4, if passed, would authorize the creation of a dedicated fund for water projects—without raising taxes.
The fund would receive $1 billion annually from existing state sales tax revenue for the next 20 years to support projects that address water supply and infrastructure needs, all without a tax increase.
Early voting for the November 4th election is happening from October 20th to October 31st.

Medicine Takeback Day
Don’t flush unwanted medicines down the toilet or throw in the trash! Medicines can pollute nearby water sources and harm fish and other aquatic life. Properly dispose of these items at a drop-off location near you on Takeback Day on October 25 or anytime at your police department or local pharmacies. Learn more at Defend Your Drains or the link below.
